6 Months contract from day of inception

Requirements

  • SAP ABAP Developer with min 5 years exp erience
  • Previous configuration knowledge of the relevant module (SAP ABAP) or specialist area (including data conversion and FIORI module(s))
  • SAP experience in line with level requirements stated for functional module, preferably in the applicable functional module
  • Experience in S/4HANA or SOH in the relevant module will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in user support for logged problems and information requests
  • Involved in 2-3 large scale SAP projects (6 months plus)
  • Knowledge of fault or any fault logging system
  • Problem-solving and assessment skills
  • Analytical skills
  • SAP Certification in the SAP ABAP Module
  • SAP S/4HANA courses attended will be advantageous
  • Certification in S/4HANA for relevant module will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on Solution Manager change management, business blue print and configuration processes and test management system
  • Escalation/change control process knowledge

The company's Group IT is in the process to converting the SAP Database from Oracle to SAP HANA as well as converting SAP Business Solutions (ECC6) to SAP S/4HANA.

To achieve this objective external contractors are needed to assist with:

  • The conversion to S/4HANA on the following SAP solutions:
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with modules FI- AM
  • Fiori UI5 Development
  • Enterprise Portal
  • The conversion to Suite on HANA (SoH) on the following SAP solutions:
  • Human Capital Management (HR)
  • Fiori UI5 Development
  • Enterprise Portal (For SOH HR)
  • Providing capacity to the iCoE team to reconfigure and tests all SAP to none SAP interfaces on the SAP S/4HANA and SOH applications (as applicable).

Description of Service/ product that needs to be provided

Resource description: FIORI UI5 DEVELOPERS

Scope of work

  • System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Finance & SAP Cash Management , but not limited to that.
  • SAP ABAP development
  • SAP Workflow developments
  • System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for SAP HCM , but not limited to that.
  • System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Logistics , but not limited to that.
  • System configuration/development, integration of SAP UI5 (Fiori) front end application, particularly for Maintenance (including Plant Maintenance), but not limited to that.
  • The Developer to activate SAP standard Fiori apps as well as creating new custom apps to support business needs.
  • Implementation of Web Applications and/or upgrade projects with technical knowledge primarily in SAP NetWeaver, UI5, Java, ABAP and Gateway.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate both strong functional and technical understandings of the SAP UI5 architecture
  • Provides skills and perform knowledge transfer to the company's SAP CoE SWF staff
  • Comply with the company's templates and requirements.
  • Maintain the current business process for the respective area on SAP Solution Manager System for the S/4 HANA implementation project.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining supporting documentation on SAP Solution Manger for example:
  • Configuration rational, including configuration specifications
  • Development, including Technical specifications.
  • Test cases, including test manuals
  • Role testing includes gap analysis, and set-up authorisation objects in line with the company's business / policy.
  • Training material, including training manuals for end user training.
  • Create and perform the execution of test management scripts on SAP Solution Manager.
  • Conduct / coordinate the following tests on SAP Solution Manager
  • Unit test
  • Integration test (Identify integration points within the company and arrange testing with these departments)
  • Role base testing
  • Performance testing
  • Analyse reported problems, enhancement requests, and minor and major process redesigns for implementation
  • Assist in developing strategy for optimizing the use of SAP, and assist in business case development and advise on the feasibility of potential future projects
  • Provide feedback to the project managers or team lead as required.
  • Attend team, operational, project and steering meetings on an invitation basis.
  • Comply with the company's Change Management process on Solution Manager for transports.
  • User support for logged problems and information requests
  • Provides consultative services
  • Analyse reported problems, enhancement requests, and minor and major process redesigns for implementation
  • Work in union with staff to develop and maintain the implementation plans and coordinate the scheduled work of other as-needed team members to complete the implementation, including documentation, testing, training, etc.\
  • Recommend implementation strategies that are aligned with the business strategy and are consistent with SAP’s enterprise architecture and strategic direction and computing platform standards
