Job Description:

  • Role Purpose:

    • Seeks suitable candidates. 

      • Promote the company as an employer who cares about the candidate’s need to find purposeful employment and interest in our company. 

      • Consistently value and promote the “purchase of skills, experience and attitude” as one of the most important decisions in the life and culture of the company. 

    • Administer pre-interview applicant information collection and screening against a checklist of requirements.  Assist in evolving the effectiveness of the checklist.

    • Manage the candidate-tracking system ensuring an accurate and current candidate database.

    • List (advertise, notify) current vacancies with established sources or as directed by the Talent Team.

    • Arrange interviews and brief and debrief candidates before and after interviews.

    • Update and maintain the company organogram.

    • Maintain efficient and courteous contact with all stakeholders (internal, candidates, agencies, ad outlets, etc.).

    • Join the interview panel whenever possible to assist in the assessment of candidates, as well as considering ways of improving the administrative selection process.

    • Evolve the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative recruitment process.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A matric pass or equivalent is essential. 

    • 2 – 3 Years administrative experience.

    • Previous experience in a recruiting role would be beneficial.

    • An HR-related qualification would be beneficial.

     

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Demonstrates consistent administrative efficiency and accuracy.

    • Passionately value the search for the right candidate over finding a “good-enough candidate quickly”. 

    • Able to identify key information detail from administrative interaction with candidates that reflects on their suitability for a role.

    • Persistence, resourcefulness and maturity. A pragmatic, no “short-cuts” approach.

    • Communication:

      • Written- and spoken English.

      • Listen and comprehend.

    • Attention to detail and an appreciation for high standards/quality.
